What We Learned

Our core value for the month of December is Principled.

We can teach children to be principled by modeling integrity, setting clear expectations, encouraging empathy, and guiding them to reflect on their choices.

The goal is to help children internalize values so they act with honesty and responsibility even when no one is watching.

Our SEL Focus this month is Inclusion/Diversity.

We want our students to show appreciation for different cultures. We can ask our children reflective questions like: “What makes our family unique?” or “How do we celebrate other cultures?”

Reminders

Remember to write your child’s name in their jacket/coat. With the colder weather recently, we have several jackets in the lost in found!

• December 8th: Mrs. Angel out of the office on the field trip with 4th grade

• December 15th -19th : No Extended Day
