Core Value/SEL

We are continuing to review the word, Respect, this month as our Core Value. We can remind our students that respect sounds and looks like: waiting our turn, sharing, helping others, making eye contact, speaking clearly, taking turns, and saying please and thank you! Our SEL Focus this month is Communication. With this SEL Focus, we are working on teaching students how to effectively manage conflicts among their peers.

Red Ribbon Week

Special thanks to Dr. Deron Cameron, Assistant Superintendent of Operations for Tuscaloosa City Schools, for speaking atour recent Red Ribbon Week Pep Rally.
